Career Scope & Job Opportunities in Pharmacy field are huge and growing. Entry of new pharmaceutical giants makes the future even brighter by far.

• Numerous jobs are available for Pharmaceutical industries, Government departments, Colleges and Universities, Hospitals, Investigation laboratories and Research institute, etc.
• Pharmacists can practice in Community Pharmacies, Hospitals, Clinics, Extended Care Facilities, Psychiatric Hospitals, and Regulatory Agencies.
• Sales & Marketing job sector also hires maximum number of pharmacy graduates.
• After registering with the state Pharmacy Council – (i) can also work in retail stores of medicines and (ii) open chemist/drug shop and sell medicines as per doctor's prescription.
• IT industries are also employing Pharmacy pass out students with good skill in computer programming.

The Placement and Career Guidance Cell will be constituted soon since Flemming College of Pharmacy, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, W.B. is a new institute and started functioning from this academic year 2021. This cell will provide all possible assistance to its students in their efforts to find employment. Assistance services in Career Counseling, Students’ Grooming, Placement and Internship Training are planned to be offered. The aim is to ensure that students have relevant information and skills necessary for effective job search and career development.
